Ben Thomas
Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics

Welcoming LGBTQ+ People to Our Churches

Ben qualified as a doctor in 2003, and worked full-time in the medical field outside of the one year he took to pursue training in Theology and Apologetics at the University of Oxford and OCCA. In 2016, he became a consultant in Neurosciences Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia unit, but now works as a consultant part-time alongside his role as a speaker at the OCCA.

Ben has interests in the intersection of faith and sexuality, gender, medical ethics, and psychology. He has spoken numerous times to the younger generations and adults in churches, conferences, and mission events across the UK and Australia. In his attempts to work out what it looks like to follow Jesus well, he is also a keen runner (Forrest Gump style!), musician, chef, and loves spending time with his family, friends, and Godchildren.

Tommy & Donna MacNeil
Speakers & Seminar Leaders

Issues facing the Local Church Today

Tommy and Donna have been in ministry together since the year 2000. Firstly, serving in Barvas where the Hebrides Revival (1949-52) took place. During this time
they sat at the feet of those who came to faith during that move of God and gleaned
from them.

In 2006 God called them to Martin’s Memorial where their ministry continues. Tommy as Senior Pastor and Donna as Ministry Support Worker. A key part of their
work has been the development of The Shed Project which opened in 2014. The Shed is the base for their alcohol and drug support work, youth and schools work,
and family support work.

They have two adult children who are married, and two adorable grandchildren who rock their world on a daily basis. Tommy and Donna’s passion is to see revived believers, so we see revived  churches, so we see revived communities, so we will see a revived nation. They take
great encouragement from the fact that this is God’s desire more than theirs.
